Three days ago I decided I wanted to start a new with this blog. I wanted something simpler.
What I got was simple alright. I simply lost all of the images I’d ever used in the posts.
This is not the end of the world – but it removes a considerable amount of content, which for me, is usually the content that drives the written expression accompanying it. i.e. I write posts based on impulses that begin with looking at pictures. No pictures means … the posts are not as well anchored … missing their foundations.

I was hoping to move away from (my previous blog template) a space that competes with the content I’m trying to convey.
It seems that so much of the way the internet follows the model set out by television – understandably from the advertising standpoint, yet this is not necessarily the best way to deliver every kind of content. Ergo, a quieter calmer, simpler, I’d say even clunkier web experience, is exactly what I was looking for in terms of letting the focus fall and remain on the content inside the post.
